Alexei Navalny back in court, anti-Kremlin movement gets a bitcoin boost

Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny appeared in a Moscow court on Friday to face a charge of defaming a Second World War veteran. Meanwhile, Navalny’s anti-Kremlin movement has received bitcoin donations worth nearly $380,000 this year, outstripping the total amount it was given in the cryptocurrency in 2020.
