February 15, 2021 – The Honourable Marc Garneau, Minister of Foreign Affairs, announced that Canada will host a virtual event that will bring together officials from numerous countries on a new multilateral initiative against arbitrary detention in state-to-state relations on February 15, 2021. Following the event, the Minister will hold a media availability.
