Alberta slaughterhouse to close temporarily amid growing COVID-19 outbreak that has claimed one life

The Olymel pork-processing plant in Red Deer, Alta., announced Monday it would temporarily shut down due to a rapidly growing COVID-19 outbreak at the facility. The news comes nearly three weeks after the death of 35-year-old Darwin Doloque, an employee at the plant.
