Surveys find more than 1,000 self-reported incidents of anti-Asian racism since start of pandemic: report

A new report that analyzed surveys that asked people to report occurrences of anti-Asian racism found 1,150 cases across Canada since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The analysis by the Chinese Canadian National Council revealed 60 per cent of the victims were women, and the bulk of cases occurred in British Columbia and Ontario.
