Alberta may need further restrictions to slow spread of variant cases, Hinshaw warns

Alberta reported a record 202 new cases of COVID-19 linked to highly contagious variants of the coronavirus on Wednesday, and Deena Hinshaw, the province’s top public health doctor warned that additional restrictions may be necessary to slow the spread.
