Wildfires are spreading thick smoke across the coast of B.C. at the same time as the province gets hit with the third heat wave of the summer. Health officials are warning that the risk from smoke and heat is more dangerous than the risk of COVID-19, so people should not hesitate to go to cooling centres and check up on their neighbours.
