Majority of last 100,000 COVID-19 deaths in U.S. were in the unvaccinated, researcher says

As the U.S. death toll from COVID-19 surpassed 700,000 late Friday, an infectious disease expert said it’s safe to say that at least 70,000 of the last 100,000 such deaths were in unvaccinated people.
