The pediatric ICU doctor who saw Brandon Schafer-Kovacs when he was brought into hospital says the symptoms of sepsis can be observed by parents or caregivers. A coroner’s inquest into the 14-year-old’s death in 2022 is being held this week in Saskatoon.
