A man from the small town of Willingham, U.K., bought a special poppy pin in 2016, commemorating Pte. Michael J. Jackman of the Newfoundland Regiment, who died in Beaumont-Hamel in 1916. He recently contacted CBC News to help find one of the soldier’s living relatives.
