Blustery conditions played havoc with Canadian runners racing for Olympic qualifying on Sunday. Charles Philibert-Thiboutot won the men’s 1,500 metres at the Canadian track and field trials, but his time of 3:40.78 was well off the 3:35 automatic Olympic standard.
