Across social media, images abound of dainty “mini-pigs” posing with their owners. That’s causing problems because not only is it illegal to keep pigs as pets in many B.C. municipalities, but many of their owners also find they’re unable to care for the animals — often unaware they can grow far bigger than their marketed size.
